Help!!!! Mites

I checked my female woma this morning and found she had 4 mites near her head. She has been acting weird since she bit me so they mite be irritating her. I have heard I need to get something called mac mite or top of descent. What is better.

Also should I use repti-guard on the rest of my collection?

Put her into a tub and hold there for the day and yes spray her with mac-mite or any other mite repellant.
Clean out her enclosure, spray that too and then keep an eye on her for the next week.
Also check the rest of your collection for mites as they could of easily spread.
Do you boil all the rocks/logs you put in her enclosure?

My personal choice is Permoxin l believe it to be the best make up a solution of 50 mls to a 10litre/2 gallon bucket submerse your snake and give it a thorough massage in the solution now vacuun out your enclosure and put a spray of this around your enclosure .....now regardless of which procuct you use repeat this proceedure in 12 days time to break any gestation cycle (most important) and one that is often neglected or not mentioned.....solar 17

I dont have any rocks or logs in her enclosure. She had a hide made of foam and some foam bits from the walls. The enclosure is three enclosures high. I have 3 snakes in "Quarantine" at the moment. thanks

where do I get permoxin? and we have dogs and cats, would I need to spray the house? or is that going a little over the top?

SPRAY... just your snakes and enclosures, you get Permoxin at the vets or some produce/farm supply stores.....at the end of the day most people get mites l have had them over many years twice and l will be dammed if l know where they came from as my collection "is closed" except for a very strictly run quarantine room away from the rest (well away).....solar 17

Nix (head lice) treatment works also. One bottle to one gallon of distilled water, shake well and spray. Do again in 12-14 days.

I have no idea mate. I know Nix is what we use over here. Look at the ingredients for Nix and compare with yours. Sorry I can't be of more help

I got dad to go and get mac mite insecticide. whats the deal there, how do I use it?

Well that wasn't as hard as what I thought it would be. already seeing dead mites
