Help my python won't eat

Hi just seeing if anyone can help me.
I have Rex my male 2 year old 4 foot carpet and he won't eat ...
Tried mice rats day old chicks but won't eat ... Now when I got him he had 3 mouth cysts(bites from food) from being feed live rats so it's coming up 7 weeks he's shed pooed but just won't eat please help ..
I have never had this prob . In my 10 or so years of keeping reptiles ...

I'm not sure if I'm reading what you've said the right way here. Were the cysts in its mouth 7 weeks ago? And was this also when you acquired the snake? I don't want to jump to the old 'take it to the vet' response without knowing what's going on, but if this is the case then perhaps it might be a good idea. If you're confident that the cysts are all cleared up and the snake is healthy then I'd give it a few more tries before getting really worried. At that age I imagine it can go a decent period of time without a feed. If it's used to being fed live food it may take a bit to transition it over to thawed as well. That's where the video that Liamb posted might be of some use.

Yep been to the vets spent $100s there cyist all gone about 5 weeks ago I've tried frozed . Live knocked out even fuzzy rats a live just not interested ..and old mate I got him off won't reply back to my pm txt or phone calls

Not a big deal. Some of my pythons have gone off food already and probably wont eat until the end of August. I'll start reducing their heat next month anyway.

dont stress if id had cysts in my mouth i wouldnt be to keen to eat either. hes been through a lotnew home being treated poor thing probly just wants to rest, good luck
