He is a very good reptile vet. I was thinking maybe he didnt put it in proberly and now hopefully it stays in now. Thanks for all the support guys.

That's good. Now you need to plan what to do to prevent it happening again probably in consult with a good herp vet.

I don't know if snakes are the same as other animals, but i work in a (non herp) vet clinic, and I would consider a prolapse an emergency, is it different for herps?
