What chalky means is, should he put in heaps of sand, logs, this, plants, that, blah,blah. I cant offer any experience due to not keeping them. But im sure it isnt hard. Nice hiding spots and coverage is what i know they like. That's all i can comment on. Google care sheets or look for some on this site. They sure help me out when im starting to keep a new species. All the best.
