I don't believe any TAFE has a degree course, it must be a certificate! Can you let us know what level of Certificate it is (ie: I, II, III, IV) and if there are any job placements available on completion.

Cheers,

I.V.

Your right TAFE don't give degrees. Over here anything less than cert III won't get you much more than a jumpstart into another course, but that is from a careers perspective. I have cert II's in stuff, and a first aid cert:). I also have lots of little day and half day courses. Not much by themself but good for the CV as part of ongoing education. Will the course help you to upgrade your permits (for vens etc)? Hope we get something like that over here in SA.

says on the tafe website that you get a TAFE PLUS Statement as the qualification. Not sure exactly where that stands compared to Cert IV etc?? Certainly not a degree.

also says "TAFE PLUS course 26200, is a pre-requisite to this course." (26200 is the basic Reptile Care course) Although did someone mention that having experience in Reptile care counts????

hmmmm

perhaps if you had posted this information in your original post then you would have received a more favourable response. You gave people very little information except for the cost of the course. I think this course is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to make a career with reptiles and i hope that some of our members can benefit from it.

yeah prolly should had more info but had my lil girl crying at me so hd to make it quick :)
but yeah hopefuly we can get enough peeps to run it!!!
