Hello everybody,
I am new to the site and just thought I would introduce myself.
My name is Jerry, i am an officer in the RAAF. I recommend the RAAF to anyone, the life style is excellent!! I am from rural Darwin, and spend my free time riding my motorbike and looking for reptiles.

I am married, to beautiful Lauren, and we are attempting to have our first child (I hope its a boy ;)). She spends nearly all her time on the internet!!

My favourite species of snake is the uracoan rattlesnake (Crotalus vergrendis) and my favourite oz species is the Barkely Tableland Death Adder (Acanthophis hawkei)
I currently keep.
1.1.1 coastal carpet
1.1.4 Northern Blue Tongue
1.1.0 Storrs monitor
1.1.0 QLD childrens python (maculosus)

I have been keeping reptiles for 4 years now.

Jerry

G'day mate,
I am in rural Darwin too,
Welcome to the site... I always wanted to be a fighter Pilot :)

Gday Mate,
Good to know there are other keen reptile people in my area!!
ha ha ha, My job isn't as interesting as that of a Fighter Jock's let me assure you!! I am just an administrative officer! Oh well, as I said; the life style is GREAT!!!
Jerry

hehe, If I dont make it in the herp world I would love to do something in the airforce, it sounds great!!!! I did Air Force Cadets for 2 and a half years, and made a rank of Flight Sergent!! hehe AUTHORITY :D.

Ha Ha Ha mate, being an officer is awesome! Great pay etc..
I rekon Air Force Cadets is a great way to become acusstomed to life in the RAAF, my nephew has dont it for 5 years and is a CUO!
Jerry

Also, times like this in the Air Force are excellent. Currently Pitch Black is under way up here, which involves the RAAF and some other of the worlds air forces, it is like a real war, and I guess you are putting to practice what we are trained to do, which is really fun! Its great to watch the F-16's, F-111's, mirages and F-18's take off on full afterburner just after sun set :) (I LOVE JET NOISE)!! It'd be great to meet some of the aircrew from other Air Forces too!!
Welcome again Jerry
