How Come no SA Herps have some sort of Gathering?

Hi all SA herpers. Dave n I have a great big Pepper Tree(The scene of many gatherings(pissups)at our place. Lets get together at the Peppertree Motel(The Rodent Ranch) and have our own gathering one weekend(when its a tad warmer). Bring your own grog and meat(I'll supply the salads and vegies), and a swag. Could be a few boat trips up the creek in the Tinny for some herp spotting, and another barby. All welcome. Only 13ks out of Renmark. cheers Cheryl

A trip to renmark must include a visit to Bredlis reptile park. While not the greatest park (its a mom and pop operation) they do breed lacies and have a lot of retics , enough to make a visit to the badly-ventilated giant snake cave a memorable experience. While I find fault with the housing, the condition of all the animals is 100%.
And the murray in spring should have a few tigers kicking around. And being SA, sleepy lizards are a near certainty.
Phil, I'll be glad to show you around but a warning about URS, they have far too many nice animals, you will require your wallet.
