I remember being stranded in the middle of the hay plains road, towing a 25 ft caravan, radiater boiling away, couldnt tow the van so we had to unhook it and crawl into rankin springs at 20 kph to get a towy to come back and pick up the rest of us and the van. Real tumbleweed country,(rivals the nullaboar in places imo) middle of summer, incredibly hot and not a single car in three hrs went by. Lotsa fun. :lol:
