hey guys,

how is fluon meant to look when applied.
i have taped up the areas of the tub, brushed the fluon on, however it looks like brush marks and a rough surface on the surface of the fluon showing through areas of the tub.
how do i speed up the process
how do i tell if it is dry
how many coats are required and how long between coats
any help is appreciated

Hrmmmm i just brushed mine on ..... mine didnt dry clear more a milky colour .... people say you only need one coat but the one i got was quiet thin ,,,,, so i did about 4 coats just to make sure those little creepy buggas wasnt getting out .... it didnt take long to dry ... once mine went from clear to milky it was dry ... maybe 20 minutes between coats if that .... again alot of peple say you only need one coat but i made sure lol ....

yes it gets brush marks and looks rough. i touched mine to feel if it was dry. i guess you could put a fan heater in front of it to speed up drying. think i put on 4 or 5 coats

thanks guys that all sounds good
i applied 2 coats and used a hair dryer to dry it, man that fluon is runny as water, lucky i taped and newspapered the tub
cheers

i used a cheap foam brush, and try not to put it on too thick or they can climb out on it as it clumps up and gives them something to grip onto.

I apply 1 coat with my finger, no brush marks. Milky white when dry in about 5 mins.
No probs with escapees.

I just use Vaseline because I'm a cheap skate :p

I have yet to have any escapees, but my two containers are pretty escape proof :p
