Hypothetical Help With Abused Snakes Please

Hello all fellow reptile lovers,

Hypothetically, if someone was to give me a snake they got from somebody else which had been abused - by this I mean kept in a tiny enclosure, never let out, never had bedding changed and fed live rats so therefore got chewed up a bit and had the tail bitten off, is it possible for me to add that snake to my licence and take it to the vet etc etc... But to add it to my licence don't I need to have someone I 'bought' it from?

If it is not on license, then you can only ring up your states licensing and explain your situation and see what they say. They are the ones that will have a say not anyone on here lol.

oh and when you do contact them, get all their details and document everything

your problems lays on weather or not the snake was ever legally registered in the first place
