Hi i am in Wagga and have 2 coastal pythons (one male one female). My female has been staying at the top of the cage and has not eaten for about 2 mths. She has also become fat towards her tail even though she has not eaten. My male has been very active and is eating his every meal. I am wanting to know if there is anyone on here from the Wagga area that knows what could be going on or if they could come and have a look to see what is happening??
Cheers Lyno

Hi Lyno, some more information, such as the temperatures your Coastals are currently kept at, enclosure set up, are they kept together etc may help others advise you :)

Unless she is constipated, you better:
1. take the male away
2. give her a box to lay eggs in
3. prepare the incubator

Good luck with it

have you been getting them ready for breeding ..where you cooling them>?
sounds like you might be a mumma lol
all the best !

Hi Guys The temps they are kept at are the heat mat at the bottom is set to cut out at 25 degree's during the day. During the night the tank is between 10-15 degrees as our house does get cold at night. We run the basking light during the day for 8-10hours at 25 degress. Yes they have been kept them together as they have been from hatchlings. The encloser is 1200w 600d 600h has a vine at the top with some fake plants and a log at the bottom with a couple of rocks. Sorry i cant get a good enough pic. Ast this is our first time doing this could anyone give us some advice on incubation like whats the best way to go?
Thank you everyone for your advice. =)
