Hi everyone, my coastal carpet python boss has been rather cranky lately and very bitey
I haven't been able to handle him all week as every time I try to get close he strikes at me
But his new enclosure is almost finished being built and he's gonna have to come out of the old one sooner or later, how do i go about handling him and preferably not getting bitten

Is it coming up on feeding day for him or is he due to shed? I find my male coastal gets more ‘moody’ during both of those periods.
