Hes exactly right about diamonds
Thats why most older keepers used hollow logs as hides
They retain the heat well and provide great insulation

RI with diamonds in the tropics is mainly caused by the high summer humidity
Wonderful slitherers but not so good north of Brisbane unless very closely watched

If you watch Snakebytes, they have an episode about snake illness and they use an inhaler/fogged of F10 to treat confirmed RI. Rather like longqi's suggestion of treating it like the flu.

Hmmm... I do have F10

I saw a YouTube video of a vics vapour rub inhaler thing, hard to explain but it looked interesting.

Maybe there should be a sticky thread of home remedy's for suspected RI until they can be seen by a vet, it seems there is a few ideas floating around... although it may end in a mass flame lol
