Importing My Female Jungle

Hey all,

Im currently waiting for my import license to be delivered and i have never imported a snake before so im trying to get some info on procedure's and location's...

1. I have to pick her up from sydney airport does anyone know where i have to go in the airport to get her ?

2. What do i have to take with me other then my reptile license, import license, and I.D?

3. Is there anything i have to do after i receive the snake eg. notify npws...

Hi scotchbo i just went through this a couple of weeks ago. Firstly there is a map in herp help to direct you to AAE. I only needed ID to collect my pythons but take your licences just in case.When you receive your import permit it will come with paperwork to send back to EPA to advice them you have collected your parcel

Also AAE is pretty obvious once your in the airport grounds,you can't miss it really

where are you importing it from

Yup, it's easy as... never been asked for my import licence (take it with you tho), but you'll need ID to get thru the gate, and you just put in your return within the week of receipt of your animal/s. Simple.

Thanks guys she is coming from SOUTH AUSTRALIA and it seem's simple enough ive never been into importing snake's but i thoughti would gve it a go as this jungle is worth it...
