Hi all, just got up from in front of the pc to find monty had let him self out side again,after the first panic i found him just wondering around on the balcony ,so i thought i would just wait and see what he would,well after about 10 mins he just came back inside ,i dont know how long he was out there. so would that mean snakes stay in there territory? i wish he would close the door though when he comes back in

Is there a hole in the screen for him to get through? I'd be more concerned with predators but it is a thrill that he came back in himself. - - It takes a long time to teach your kids to close doors. Get a self closer and you won't have to nag him. lol

got a m8 who lets his snake out all the time, he just leaves the cage door open. after a hour or so he makes his way back in and the door is shut. makes exercising his snake a lot easier lol

no there is no hole he has just worked out how to open the glass door and the screen

Do you not have a lock on the glass door?

yes and he just slide up the glass and hits the lock comes down pushes along the glass untill it opens and then does the same to the screen door ,i put the dead lock on at night

monty is a 7ft carpet and i dont have to worry about the neibours as im on 10 arcers
