hi,

my python tried squeezing through an alarm clock with the metal round tops. it was halfway then stuck so eventually we got it out. she has some scales coming off but cant see any flesh. she also has a very slight dent on top of her body where the sharp metal was squeezing her. should i bring her to a reptile vet tomorrow morning???? wat can i do in the meantime????? any medicines she will need???

thanks

well. its morning. he has scales off him but that might be the shed as he is coming to a shed?? he has some dents which i can feel on his body but only very slight ones. should i take him to a vet???? cant get pics at the moment

If there is no obvious wound, wait until after the shed.

If he looks to be uncomfortable, moving strangely, or there is any sort of discharge (blood, clear fluid, whatever), get him to a vet immediately.

update... took him to david vella reptile vet and they said she will be fine. just some antiseptic cream and after her next shed she will be good. verry happy with results as she is my favourite python. also checked her faeces and she was fine.

so yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
