Hi and welcome to the site Matt :D Hope you enjoy it here and find the answer to your question....I'm not even going to try and answer it as that'd be very silly of me since I have no idea

Hi Alumba, welcome to the site. You will definately enjoy it here as there is so much useful information and members that are friendly and more than happy to help with any questions. So don't be afraid to ask.

I'm told you can probe them just like any other snake and i cannot see why this would not be the case.

Good to have you onboard Matt - Crows or Port Power?
There several types of file snakes and from what i understand they are live bearers ... good luck and welcome

yes there r two types of file snake and being aquatic they have to give birth to live young.i was looking at its cloaca today and there not like there cousin it just looks like a single hole, like there is no place for the prob to go like there is on other snakes
but i will give it ago always up for a challange

Howdy , I have to ask what's it like having a file snake ? It's definately on my list , it's just a long list.

File snakes are cool, there easy to look after and easy to feed. Top end reptiles in Darwin sell them for $200 bit pricy in my book considering I used to get them for $75. And u may have to check out the permit system in ur state. down here in Adelaide u has to have a specialist permit class 3 to keep them.
but they r a whole heap of fun to watch fascinating really.

Crows if I had to go for a footy team
