is incubating yellowfaced whip snakes the same as python eggs??
have a whippy due to lay and wanted to find out if the incubation process is the same as pythons as i have diamonds due as well and have the incubator ready for them.
the only thing i found on search was that they take 61-72 days to hatch and a temp of 29.5-32 with vermiculite 100mls to 150gm is this correct i dont want to jepodise my clutch from misinformation

G'day Jie,

I would stick them in a dry mix (as you described) at those temperatures. They are a hardy species with tough eggs - there wouldn't be much to it.

Cheers

Would you recommend using a drier mix with most elapids Jonno,Browns-Tais-Black snakes etc

I personally run over water with my elapid eggs without problems

Cheers,
Scott
