go off their food if they are looking for lurv?
Just wondering, as Boof shed last week, and doesn't seem to be interested in eating yet - tried two days after shed, then again last night(5 days later). Emdee is in bottom enclosure at the moment. They are both nearly 4 yrs old. Thanks, Cheryl

it is normal for males to go off food during breeding season, depending what type of carpet boof is may explain a bit more as my males who bred earlier have started eating again but my male md, who is still in breeding season is not eating yet.

my bredli just shed a 2 months ago an he went off his food too, then had a rat a few days ago.

I would like to know too. I have a young male MD and want to know what to expect when he gets older.

Boof hasn't eaten since before I turned the heat off for winter. I thought he'd be starving! I guess he'll eat when he feels like it eh? Cheers Cheryl
