hey guys,
my stimsons python has changed its mood a bit it used to come out to my hands everytime i opened the enclosure doors which was awesom but since its become cold he doesnt come to me when i open the enclosure anymore. i tried to pick him up and he didnt seem to want to be touched at all so i assumed he was shedding sure enough he shed just yesterday but he still seems to be acting strange and doesnt want to be touched by the way he is acting he usually is a good snake do you guys think mayb he is going into hibernation because of the cool weather please help with your feed back thanks.
kind regards aaron
P.s tried to feed him 3 nights ago and he didnt want to eat and hast eaten for 2 weeks now

I dont know stimsons but if you are in Australia right now it's colder everywhere at the moment.

Dont be too concerned. 2 weeks is not the end.

Do you open his enclosure then back off? Let himm decide if he wants contact?

Works for us. Anyway enjoy

yer mate usually i just open the doors and he comes right out

My blokes are a bit frigid after shedding so leave him be.
It's also pretty cold now so he will have slowed down a bit.
Also it's brumation that snakes go through.
He'll be fine as far as food goes. Nothing to worry about.
