Is this normal?

My childrens python shed today and left quite a large poo inside the shed. As I was looking over it I noticed it's cloaca was looking a little loose (if that makes sense). I've teed up a vet visit and was just wondering what others think.

quite normal to find they have deficated in the shed, my lot do it occasionally.

yes most snakes will do that.

What about the loose cloaca? Usually it seems to hold itself shut, now it almost hangs loose (sorry I'm not very good at articulating myself).

It's just because it's lost its 'packing' if you know what I mean. It will return to normal after a short time.
