Hey,
This is my first time posting on this site so sorry if there is already a thread for this.

I bought my 1st snake (Jungle) just before last Xmas (He's about 7 months old now). The whole time I've had him he has had quite loose skin underneath and I'm not sure if it's normal.

Ive got him in a tank with 2 hides, 1 of them has a heat mat under it. He also has a big dish with water in it. Im certain I'm feeding him plenty. Is it just cause he is young?

What do you mean by loose skin? You mean he feels flabby? Pics would be a big help.

My snakes has a little bit of loose skin to its nothing to worry about its just so it can expand while digesting large meals

Nothing to worry about, he's just about to shed. Thanks Liam, I was thinking about inclusion body disease. Thank god you solved the case without any pics or further information before anybody got worried.

from what iv gathered about inclusion body disease pythons typicly dont show signs of illness, and by him stating that he is a good feeder( good co-ordination, not regurgitating) i gathered that the snake wouldnt have the disease.

Ok awesome thanks for all the replies. Looks like I'm just being another paranoid newbie. Cheers for the help
