You know about the Reptile shop down a Warners Bay? I have not been there yet but been told they are very good. Price is not much different to ebay. And staff know what they are talking about.

Not sure. Was almost going to get one myself. You get the heat mat from ebay also?. Try a Hydro shop see if they have them cheaper. I'll be doing some hunting myself and I'll let you know what I come up with.

for a basic thermostat they are fine,
that type is usually on the high end of the $50 mark in the shops so you did well...
for a basic tank it will do the job.
I wouldnt use it on my incubators but i would trust it enough on my basic enclosures
