Just walking the dog!

Here's a few pics I took thismorning on a 30 minute walk at my favourite RBB creek. "My girls" are starting to disperse early this season, those near the brumation site are still in the opaque phase of shedding while the more active animals have already done so. All five females accounted for, including the rehab I had over winter!

Hoping to get lucky and catch some big male RBB's when they visit.

For those who aren't familiar, a pic of an Eastern Water Dragon brumation burrow also.

LOL I saw it Friday. No word of a lie, when I saw the "walking the dog" thread I really expected to see it. Such an awesome pic.

Not that blind, Sarah!!

No matter how many times I see it, I still get a real thrill out of watching RBB's swim. This one was unusual in that it swam with it's head just below the surface all the way across the creek (pretty spesh)!

If I were them, I'd be spending my time pumping iron, though 5 months of no males, I reckon my girls will go for anything that crawls with a hemipene!

Great stuff IV. I miss the rbbs but not much else from down there. I might have to visit you one day. Reciprocal is a goer too. I would like to meet Boris (and retain my fingers)

You'd have to come to Adelaide, Steve, but you're more than welcome! Unfortunately (for me), Boris is off to a better place (nice outdoor enclosure) to stay permanently with a friend of mine in Brisbane as our new addy has much less room than our current one. I know he's in good hands, though.
