knobtail shedding problem

I have juvenile male levis levis (about 6 mths old) that just cannot get this shed off his body. He is still eating about 1 to 2 large crickets a day. And moving around ok.

He has been that pale shedding colour for about 3 weeks now. I have tried spraying his body with water, even tried peeling the skin myself (without harming the guy).

Is there anything I can do, he must be uncomfortable not being able to shed.

The only thing i can think of is to make sure his burrowing area is nice and moist, or you can maybe even put him in some sort of container with moist substrate all the way through, maybe an ice cream container so you can keep a high humidity?

Thanks Gecko82, I moistened the inside of his hide and he shed his skin the next day. Your a great help.
