Anyone take part in this as a hobby or a job? I'm looking to learn ATM as I've been stalking a good forum for awhile now and it looks like great fun. Not alot of places to learn as far as I can see. If you do I'd love pics of your works. :)

I don't do it but would be interested in doing it as a hobby,
I like different hobbys and have just started teaching my self engraving, I also do fire arts and knife throwings and want to learn taxidermy
 
you sound like me mate.. lol dabble in everything.. w w w talkglass dot c o m, dont know if thats a no no but its a great forum. the stuff some of these people make is mindblowing. from marbles and pendents right through to the most insane waterpipes and sculptures.
 
Saw alot of glass blowing on Murano Island. Maybe move there for a few years :)

yeah sounds like we are two of a kind :)
when I see something I think is cool I do a search for how to.
Its a bit strange the day before I saw this thread I was talking to a lady whos husband and her once owned a glass blowing business,
 
lol im the same, find something i like then research the fudge out of it and try get good at it.. like my mum says i know how to do heaps and heaps of stuff but im a master of none.. well all my reptiles are fat and happy but im a far cry from master lol
 
About the same with me :)
hahaha I don't think any one is really a master at reptiles because there is so much to learn, new species are being found all the time and there are very few species in captivity compared to the wild.
