Hey all, anybody familiar with licensing for certain birds? I was checking out some finches today that were under license and i was wondering, does anyone know how much it costs to keep birds on your rec license? Or can you add it onto your exisiting rec license for free or what? I cant find my original paperwork when i got my license so cant look up pricing on that, plus its about 6 years old so probably void now anyway... Cheers if anyone can help.

Steve

hey mate,
you will need to buy another licence, another $60 for 2yrs...though you only get 1 book,so herps and birds will go in it together.

Private Numbers are the devil! sorry Water boy quote there.

well i paid $63 for 5 yrs bird licence and then it cost me $13.50 to add reptile. :D its cheap as, and iv got it for 5yrs :D

QLD is pretty harsh a Fauna permit is all that is required unless its not on the basic list then you need a specialist permit but that also includes reps with no extra cost. That being said the basic permit for one year is $60 so you guys get it cheaper.
