OK....did the dingo do it or not ??? Personally I've heard just about as much as I want to hear about this case over the 30 odd years, but just for a different subject to post, I thought I'd ask you....
Do you think the dingo took the baby or not ???

I always believed Lindy was guilty, now I think I was wrong.

What do you guys think....or is it all just too long ago, and just RIP the poor little baby !!!

I would put it in the "too long ago" basket personally. I just don't care anymore, as we will never know exactly what happened. Never was a fan of "Cold Case"...

just because dingos have attacked and killed children since this happened does NOT mean one took her baby, to my knowledge there has never been a child attacked and killed in the same place since Azaria? so what dingos do on Fraser Island is not the concern of the N.T.

when it came across on the tv that night as a 'newsbreak' i said B******* and i have NOT changed my mind

she, or someone in her family, killed that baby and she seen a dingo in the area and tried to say it took her baby

sorry but i didnt believe, do not believe it and will NEVER believe it and someone in the NT government needs to grow a set and say 'enough is enough' and close it once and for all and if they arent happy with the decision then TOUGH luck she can just p** off back the US and stay there

Personally I feel there are too many variables to give me a clear cut answer.... Plus the media typically sensationalized the incident, forensic evidence was mismanaged etc..... It would be highly unlikely for a pure bred dingo to do what it was accused of, cross bred with domestic dogs maybe a different story. See too much speculation not enough fact for me to nail her to the wall, deep down I do feel there was human involvement on some level be it her or some-one else.... Truthfully I dont even remember enough about it to be certain. All I can say is if she did do it she has had to live with it for the rest of her life....

I think R.I.P poor little Azaria. However, if i were an innocent mother accused of murdering my own child, i would be fighting for the truth until i were laying cold in a coffin. I dont believe she done it, i never have.

why don't they just give it up? it's 30 years ago, if they had REAL evidence, they/she'd be in jail, it's just a blatant witch hunt at this point.

the same with the max seeker case, they don't care who it is, they want someone in jail, innocent or not, and they won't give up till they do.

at this point we'll probably never know what really happend.

A similar incident not occurring in the same place again doesn't mean anything and it also doesn't prove anything. Calling bs on a story upon hearing it instead of waiting to hear all the evidence is highly prejudicial and unfair. You can have an opinion that something is bs but you can't state it as a fact when after all the investigating it can't be proven for sure.

I've never looked into too much, but I reckon they have accidentally killed the baby and were too ashamed to admit so. My parents worked on properties in central Australia and reckon its not likely, because the dingos are so scared of people. Hmm maybe we'll just never know the answer!

She could have picked a more likely story though, such as a drop bear falling on them.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, a lot of the people on Lindy's jury thought like you. Form an opinion and react.
Thats why they are still dicking over this stuff. Wouldn't suprise me if they vindicate the Chamberlains and apologise for the injustice.

BTW your justification for your opinion sux.

Too hard to say, know one can be certain and hate when people say I KNOW. It may be rare but people have been killed in stranger ways.

Children terrified as python eats boy - theage.com.au

Wow. Those poor kids.

I read an article a few months ago somewhere in Australia where a mother was in the yard with her two toddlers and a python grabbed one and started constricting it. She ran into the street and screamed wit her two kids and all her neighbors ran out to get the python off her kid while the ambulance was coming. But you know what's awesome? They let the snake go an the parents taught the kids afterwards that snakes are good and it didn't mean to hurt him :)

Dingos can become very bold if they are fed, which is what seems to have happened at the campsite Azaria went missing from.

Oh I see. Well my parents were western QLD/bottom of NT properties so very remote, maybe it's just the area. But I was quite a few years ago too.

Dingo: Canis familiaris dingo. They're dogs. Wild dogs. Easily habituated when fed and great opportunists. Babies are on the menu.
