G'day all
Just wondering for future info if there is anybody here who lives near me... i live on the far north coast of NSW...
I have 4 central beardies and in the future i hope to have a breading pair (or more) of each bearded dragon species, saw shelled turltes, some blue tongues, geckoes and a couple of pythons later on down the track...
also i'd love to see some other peoples set ups... especially outdoor enclosures as i plan to build a few.

Hi ReptileGirl,

I don't live near you but my Sister-Inlaw lives at Dunoon and my Mother-Inlaw lives at Goolmangar, both outer suburbs of Lismore. They both like reptiles but don't technically own any (they just wander thru their yards).

My best friend has lived in dunoon almost all his life. Its the absolute best place around!! And goolmangar's just down the road from me Its a pitty they dont have any reptiles cos i'd really like to see some other peoples set ups.... oh well.

We go to Nambucca Heads for holidays. You will see me. I am the one missing his snakes sneaking around the caravan park at night catching big green tree frogs and coastal carpets on people's vans and annexes and taking happy snaps and releasing them....you are in a herper's paradise love!

I am at Macquarie Fields, but we could post pics, if you take a look at the photo gallery, there are some pretty awesome setups to look at.
Don't feel isolated it is just in the middle of the boon docks that's all :lol:

Yeah i know Its so nice up here.... theres so much nature and green stuff... no offence to anyone but i couldnt live in a big city... too much concrete.

what about the gold coast??? anyone here live on the gold coast?? cos thats only about 2 hours away (depending on whos driving) :lol:

i've just discovered there is a reptile and amphibian interest group in lismore... so i'm gunna contact them and see what the go is.... hopefully they hold a meeting soon and i'll be able to meet all the local herpers.... :mrgreen:

I actually live in the Sydney CBD,but I was brought up on a farm at a place called Robertson on the Southern Highlands and I absolutely crave for the wide open spaces and wouldn't care less if I didn't see another city for the rest of my life.....but sometimes you have no choice esp when it comes to work! I go down to the South Coast every weekend and would go stir crazyif I didn't!

Nah i'm glad you like it... only moved out here about 6 months ago... and i wouldnt give it up for anything.... ok well maybe i would but it would have to be something really really good!!
