They have finally reached town. It looks like it is snowing outside and it sounds like it is raining underneath the verandah. The beardies are going nuts in the outdoor pit!If only my camera was good enough to capture what it looks like outside.

Do they eat grass? I mowed my lawn on friday, if they eat grass I could have saved myself an hour or so of mowing

It was during a locust infestation that the pigmy blue-tongue was rediscovered. They had lots of food and the spiders whose holes they share ( OK, they eat the spider and move into the newly-vacant hole) had lots of food and huge population densities. PBTs density was estimated at one every square meter. Currently PBTs are estimated at one every 10 square meters.

Expect to see heaps of baby skinks and dragons in your area in the next few months.

There is Locust crap everywhere! My cars are covered in it. :evil:

they remind of that part in the movie twster where they let loose all those tornado data gps transponders and they take off and fly. I think that is also the only movie I can remember in which bill paxton plays a good guy

there was still heaps outside just before it got dark. The only thing worse than live locusts is squashed locusts on the road making it slippery
