Hi everyone
I have a 2 yr old spotted python ( not quite blonde in colour) all is well with him, he eats 1 small adult rat every week roughly and I dont offer the next feed until he poos, so I know its passed. He has wood shaving substrate, big wood logs and the usual stuff( water hide rock) I keep his day temp between 28-32 and night 18-22 as advised by breeders and shown in books but today I saw some very very fine transparent almost belly scales and the handful of scales that run either side of his belly are looking slightly darker in colour but only on the tips and its not every scale that looks this this just a few either side of the belly and at most 10 or so either side.
Please help can anyone explain the loss of belly scales and odd coloured scale tips.
Cheers Guys
Renee
