After her pre-lay shed I noticed that she has some scales that are all white and fading to white, Is this a lost of pigment? They feel fine to the touch; the only thing I can think of is a deficiency of some sort due to her body producing eggs?

Has anyone seen this before?

she retained her skin for a long time before the pre-lay shed, but she has a few tiny white scales on her neck aswell that i couldnt see coming from a scar or a scab

So in cases like that, would it regain its pigmentation or is that permanent..?

Yes, it is just a bit of superficial damage, probably a few small dry area's, and so when she shed they marked a little.
You will find that after next shed they will be gone, or at worst the shed after that.
Definitely not a genetic problem.

The ones on her nose look similar to ones my girl had from pushing her nose into things, the ones on her neck i can't see real well but i don't see why they couldn't be from when she may have tried to rub off a previous shed. I don't think they are much to worry about, are the scales soft/squishy or hard like normal.

The ones on my girl never went back to their normal colour but they didn't stay white, they went black.

there hard like normal, she did have abit of rostral damage when i first got her and awhile ago she started to push everything in her enclosure.

im not stressed too much if it isnt a deficiency, cause i really want to get her feeding again.

She'll be fine then. If they're hard then it more than likely isn't scale rot. And even if it is scale rot there's no reason not to feed her if she will eat.
