Today i got home from school to find my beloved knob tailed gecko 'peanut' dead, he was only 1.5 years old and he stopped eating a couple of days ago, im just wondering what could of caused this?

whaaaha im sad now. idk some geckos just dont live very long my female thick tail is 1.5 years old and my male 1 i hope they dont die soon/

Were the temperatures ok?
Had access to water?
Could it be from impaction?
 
Temps were fine, access to water bowl & i sprayed him, umm it could b i had sand substrate
 
Sorry to hear about your poor gecko. They deff live more than a year tho.

is there a way of preventing impaction?, thats got me paranoid now. (first time ive heard of it)
