It teaches an animal disapline n keeps them inline. believe me man i have tried all the nice ways of doing things. take my lil foxy as an example. when we first got it to try house training it everytime it would urinate in the house it would b taken over to the mess n be told in a stern voice no, n then put outside for 10 min or so, this went of for 6 weeks with out anyprogress, then one day it crapped in my room, i grabbed the dog, pushed his face into the mess, yelled at him bad dog, gave him a wak n threw him outside, neva again has it done a poo or anythin in the house. explain this...
If I pushed your face in poo you wouldnt either! Its explained by the simple fact you have no idea how to train an animal. You think your dog makes a connection between a puddle of urinate or crap and the word no? Of course not, its just a dog, do you have any idea how small a foxys brain is, there as silly putty at the best of times. You have NOT tried "all the nice ways" or you would have succeeded and been proud of your dog. when you notice the dog running in circles etc you know if your smart enough, it wants to go, thats when you take it outside, not after its done a mess. Thats how it learns to go outside, they connect the urge with being on the lawn. praise never went astray with a dog either. You have more than your dog to learn.
Patience is paramount when it comes to animals, something I have very little of when dealing with certain people!
