worth a shot if you live as long as mr. Haast (rip)...

it's been done with tigers in Australia by Charles Tanner (who also invented what should be called the Tanner bag)

I think I'm more surprised at seeing Rollins on the National Geographic channel than seeing some dude shooting up venom! :p

he has been tagged by a mumba over 50 times now and still lives, its stupid what he is doing but it works

Can't help but think surely that would cause permanent damage as a result from stress on his organs?

oh welllll, whatever floats ya boat man

You'd certainly think so, as much as the subject piques my interest I'd have to agree there. I'd be interested to see if anyone's had any full body exams at different stages throughout the process, if they're adamant it's 'scientific' there should be some degree of examination, surely?
On second thoughts, that'd make a good Mythbusters episode :p

this is actualy fairly normal. i have a life threatening alergy to bees/wasps (last time i was stung by a bee i was in hospital for 6 days) and after that the hospital started me on an immunisation program where every week they inject my with bee venom to slowly start building up my tolerance. howver having said this, the program goes from anywhere from 3-5 years depending on how your body reacts. needless to say i cbf to do that every week so now i just stay away from bees. so in essence, i guess this dude has the right idea
