Looks like it could put a bit of downward pressure on the hip area. This would more than likely cause pain in the legs and hips. Do you notice the little guy not using his back legs or having a bit of trouble at all?

Unfortunately Blueys are too tough for their own good at times, and only when it's too late to do something effective do they show symptoms.
