I picked up a Pygmy Python from the reptile show in Sydney on Sunday

He has to be the cutest snake I have ever seen, and he is extremely docile, even more so than my woma who is so docile I could practically hand feed her.

He is so cute and tiny even my mum wants to meet him and she is terrified of snakes lol

My son and I decided to call him Freddie Kruger

awesome dude my pygmy python is 7 or so years old and is only like 2.5 foot maybe 3 at the very most the are very placid i have never been bitten by mine and she has never bitten anyone else who has handled her gotta love the pygmy's

So tiny, so cute, so ironic to be called "Freddie Kruger"! lol
hehe that's what I like about it, it was a tough choice between Freddie Krueger, Chopper, Small Pox, Hannibal, Zombie or Chaos... My son made the choice between those :)

Totally inappropriate name for a cutey like that...especially given the temperament. Makes me wonder what you'd call a psycho snake that lunges at anything should you ever acquire one :p (Maybe call it Rain Man or something)

He really is a beauty though! Congrats!

Why Fluffy, of course.

That sounds big for a pygmy. I read that they only grow to be around 50cm with the biggest recorded being 62cm (Keeping and breeding Australian Pythons - Mike Swan, 2007)
