Don't wish him/her big... LOL I always do that with baby turtles, then when they're big I wish they were tiny again. lol

That's why I chose to get one small, being my first reptile me and my ability can grow with her. And I want her to at least be big enough to be able to chill in the enclosure I've got rather than the click clack.

I did! That and 3 of her first 4 sheds were on the 8th of a month. So Oct = 8, little play on words along the way.
