at healesville sanctuary they keep blue tree snakes in with coastal taipans.
 
Great pics Baz, but whats with the elephants bum? lol Love the 3freshy hatchys ! :D

arg, no pictures of chameleons. makes me remember what i am missing out on being here in australia. chameleons are the coolest lizards.

i thought it was a regular rhino viper

Actually, it probably is. I just thought I saw several little horns. But Rhino Viper makes much more sense, and I know that they're in the country.

Would i be right in saying that beautiful big green thing is a madagascan day gecko ?
 
but whats with the elephants bum

Some people seem to be keen on photographing elephant bums. Something I noticed when I worked with them at Taronga. Lots of photos of pachyderm posteriors.

Just as an aside, a few years ago one of the Zoo Keeping Associations produced a calendar featuring photos only of animal bums.

Cairns tropical zoo had a pair of maccies in with their pair of adult scrubbies last time I was there and they had GTF's in with the olive.
