Hi all,
After asking Tim from URS about some outdoor Mertens Water Monitor enclosure tips, he was kind enough to email me 3 photos. He then tried to upload them to APS but it stuffed up for him so he has asked me to put them up.
The first pic is of the outdoor enclosure where the monitors and Water Dragons they live with can get out to have a good climb and sun themselves.
The second pic shows the indoor enclosure with the pond. The hole you can see in the floor is heated by putting a URS Heat Cord between 2 planks of wood.
The third pic shows a different angle of the indoor enclosure. The entire enclosure is made of MDF and is coated in fibreglass to waterproof it. Not shown is a hole where the animals can get to the outdoor enclosure when they please.
