Hi guys,
I have a Black Headed Python, and recently she has had problems with prolapses and mites. I believe I have sorted out the mites (although still being careful), but now I notice she's constipated. Could all this be related? I have heard that mites can cause constipation-but how? Is it through dehydration, or should I be looking for a disease/infection?

Constipation and prolapse have several causes which can only be guessed at on a forum.
Poor hydration
Parasites
Overfeeding
To much heat(particularly bottom heat).

How bad is the prolapse? Is the snake retracting the prolapse itself?
Giving your snake warm baths while lifting the tail can help to relieve constipation.

Im guessing the cause would have been the mites-Im pretty certain I've gotten rid of them-but still keeping a close eye on it.
As for the prolapses, the 1st one was pretty bad and she had to be taken to a vet, but the last 2 she's had havent been too bad, it comes out maybe 1cm or so, but it generally goes back in within 10-15mins. Im just worried that she may have picked up an infection or something from the mites, and unfortunately my local herp vet doesnt seem to know too much about them.

I personally haven't heard of mites as a cause of prolapse. I had a snake that was prolapsing and required vet treatment, the vet gave me a course of antibiotic and also wormer to treat the snake with and injections to help with hydration as he was also impacted, the snake still prolapses but not to the same severity I feed smaller food items and put 10-20 ml of water into the gut of the food to assist hydration.
