Mites!

When I got up this morning I found little white specs around my beardies cage. There were thousands of moving mites!!
I checked my mealworm box and that seemed to be where they were coming from. I cleaned my beardie cage, threw out the mealies and sprayed my room where my dragon is being kept. There are still mites around the cage. What do I do? I HATE MITES!!! :x

They do not sound like Snake mites
They sound exactly like bran/fodder mites (a mite which get into mealworm colonies), they are harmless to herps, just throw out the colony, clean the area, problem solved, no need to freak out

Know exactly what you're talking about. They make you feel crawlie, and absolutely cover everything, they won't hurt your animals.

I'm glad to say THEY ARE GONE!!! it took a while for me to remove them all. The old mealies got thrown out, the enclosure got sprayed and I wiped the mites off everyday. The mealworms are in the shed so I won't have any more mites in my room!
