I never thought of defrosting stuff in a bucket. I was geting used to copping a smack in the ear for using mums gut pots and pands...

Rodent rancher supplies all her product in plastic bags, which I then use to defrost the animals. Very convenient and no mess.

Measure your bredli again, they hatch longer than that

ok i just measured her and she is 41cm nose to vent and about 47 nose to tip.

I currently thaw mice/rats in a bag and then in water. I put one straight in the water once then got him out and the tail fell off.

I thought I also read on here somewhere that snakes prefer dry food??
