hey all just pulled my childrens out and he is making a noise with his mouth like a high pitched squeek like when our nose's make a high pitched squeek is this normal?? to me just sounds like his breathing

28/4/11 was first shed that wasnt complete

feed him yesterday also

na hes no hissing get its like squeek pause for 2 sec squeak and so on :( would this be stress caused from my bhp ??

If the shed was incomplete near the mouth it could have a partially blocked nasal passage
Unless your BHP is in the same viv it most probably wont be stress
Check your temps
If it sounds even slightly like a wheezing noise there is a chance it could be a minor RI
If your temps are low pop them up a bit

Ok my bhp is next door which is divided by peg board. But reading the net to me it sounds like humidity is to high when i do stick my head in the enclosure it is quite think air so i will air it out but this had only been happening since i put them in this new enclosure. Dont think its from shed cuz it was like a month ago n its only just started

If it is an RI you need to get your snake to the vet for some antibiotics ASAP.

went to the vet he said he is fine :S but he is still making the sound so i dont know :(

You have anteresia seperated from a BHP by pegboard? It's probably having a nervous breakdown. Pop some xanax in its water dish.

It's probably just farting because it's about to $h1t itself every time it sees the BHP through the holes slithering past.

well whats everyones thoughts pull my childrens out and leave the bhp have the whole enclosure?

childrens is the left side

yer well i didnt really plan on it lol i can put him back in his old enclosure but i jsut made this one for both but yer

I'm not sure if this will be of any help, but I'm sure the scent of the BHP would be reduced a fair bit if you weren't using a peg board to divide the enclosure.

yer to me they show no signs of stress but i dont know i could be wrong
