my diamond is bleeding??????

my 5 yr old 6 ft diamond i noticed last night when he was eating that there was a red colour in around the belly scales i thought it might have been from the food but i looked tonight and it is all the way down the body has any on had this problem before if so som info or help would be great

This will normally happen when a snake is eating.
Its just a normal thing they do. No need to worry.

Is it a light pink colour you're seeing, or dark red blotches? Pics would be good.

yeah my diamonds when eating get a bright red colour through their belly scales. i wouldnt think you need to panic at all

Could it be red ink from the newspaper substrate? Damn red is hard to read.
