Ah kids.
Anyway today I was wandering around, wondering vaguely why my eye was in intense agony. Could it be a blocked duct? Of course not. It was the two fingers my youngest, beloved, miniature sadist son stuck in my eye socket last night coming back to haunt me.
So what intense agony have your little squishies caused you lately, all the aps parents out there? And don't say childbirth, that one goes without saying ;)
Well... unless you're the father anyway. Now that would be interesting...

LOL!!! I got a afoot in the eye this afternoon. am now nursing a nice bruise that made everyone look at my husband strangely when we went out for dinner tonight....

Wow. I don't think I ever want kids after watching that...

HAHAHAHAHA! I think what I liked about that was that, effectively, he was having an induced labour with none of the endorphins coming beforehand.
What's worse boys? Heh heh heh...

It's not as bad as they say; if you're ever interested check out Ina May's Guide to Childbirth. It gives a pretty comprehensive overview of different types of interventions, plus the pros and cons of natural, etc. The book completely took my fear away.
Don't get me wrong, I was still nervous. Let's face it; that was a pretty large object to pass lmao... but honestly, not so bad as I thought. Way more intense, but not so bad. I seem to be the odd one out these days though, so don't take my word for it, but if you ever do want to have kids look around for LOTS of info.

... mhm.... lol. I'd want an epidural I think. I've seen how superbly they work in cattle, horses and dogs.... So gimme :D lol

Myson made a pirates telescope using the inner from a roll of overlocker thread(one of those big cone shapes rolls), he decorated it with little sequins stars and was proudly showing it to me when he jammed it at my face and one of the pointy ends of a sequin went in my eye, as a result I had to drop my kids at childcare while blood dripped from my eye and then head to emergency

Oh and there are far more painful things than giving birth, like having drain tubes removed from under your ribs or steroid injections into your shoulder.

:)

I have had a drug injected directly into my stomach before for a blood clot in my lung. I NEVER want to have to repeat that, jeeze did it hurt!!

Hahaha, i LOVE that video i seen it the other day and pissed myself laughing, contactions are NOTHING compaired to crowning. Silly little boys.

Me and my 2yr old where sitting down colouring with her newest Peppa Pig texta's and she tryed to pull the lid off and her grip slipped resulting in her punching me in the eye and the texta sticking right into it. I seen red, my first reaction was to rip her in half and stab her in the face with a fork and see how she liked it, but being the wonderful mother i am, i slowly packed up the texta's (with her kicking and scream at my legs, not making the wanting to stab her back any better) and walked outside to enjoy a peacful smoke. Instead she screamed and nearly kicked the door down for the whole 5minutes i was out there.

Children are amazing :)

hepron? self injected them for 2 weeks, they are tiny compared to regular needles, bruises were the only things that hurt, though i guess injecting insulin makes you kind of over any needle phobia's or pain

Not so much 'intense agony' as such.........but my little squishy is growing up WAY too quickly........& ummmm this is painful! Where oh where did my baby girl go? It is fast becoming time for daddy to bring out the gun! ;)

not as bad as some but i know that when your two year old has you by the nipple ring she has your full attention.

I don't have kids myself, but my little sister just left this afternoon, for a 10 month trip, beginning in France, going around Europe and the UK and wherever else she fancies.

My Dad just rang me in tears because their house is now empty.

My Mum was too upset to talk on the phone.

They're getting a dog.

Oh yeah, I know that feeling lmao.
As far as crowning goes though I didn't actually find it that bad to tell you the truth, then again my first came out too quick to really acknowledge it (midwife literally caught her, story of her life the kid's too quick to see sometimes lmao), and the other two I was soaking in a warm birthing pool so I suppose that probably went a ways towards easing the burn somewhat. That said, I've pretty much had enough of labour in general. When it goes gradually from "why am I doing this?" to "I'm not sure I want to do this again" and finally to "OK I *never* want to do this again!" I reckon that's where the buck stops ;)

Classic!

Mine didn't  But I didn't mind getting done. Plus he had to have his insides scoped with a camera today so i still get to laugh at his misery so it's not a total loss

Ahhhh!
Oh lord picklepants, tell me it was a very young nephew and not intended?
