If non of them are showing any red you may well have gippys. Male gippys will get orangey stripes on their throats whereas females throats will develope yellow colouring.

Is that a Gippsland???????????? Has a pretty nice shade of blue/aqua in the pics. I love Water Dragons.

Simone.

They would certainly seem to me that they have Gippsland in them. They are stunning animals.

Yes I agree, she looks quite blue in the pic and has a little bit of yellow on the throat. I presume they're being kept outside in Melb so it'd be a good thing to have a bit of gippsland in them so they can cope with the cold a bit better.

Cute

Hello,

That is a very cute picture!!
Did she fall off of something to end up on her back? They really cannot breathe well on their backs, it slows their respirations way down & puts them in a catatonic state, basically.
I am glad she is ok!!:)

As the post above says, they find it hard to breathe when flat on their back and tend to go very catatonic, good thing you turned her over. However it's a god tip to remember if you ever need to inspect one up close if they are clawing and biting too. A few seconds on their spine immobolizes them and you can easily handle without losing a finger.
