My snake makes cracking noises!!

My snake makes weird cracking noises in his neck and bolges his throat somtimes, what could this be?

Sorry mate i cant really offer any help with this,but it might be time for a trip to the vet just to be certain.

More than likely your python has a respiratory infection. You'll need to take it to the vet and get some antibiotics.

Could be coming up for a slough, their skin looses some of it's elasticity and often looks a bit puffy around the throat area. RI is also a very high probablility, esp at this time of year.

The cracking sound is common if it is when you are handling it. The puffing of the throat can be that it is threatened. Do you have any photos?
