So I have two snakes a murray darling python and a Childs python. They both r only hatches. So to my vent my sis in law who loves my snakes decides to get my Childs python who is called Houdini because she has escaped from her enclosure once before. My sis in law was holding her while watching tv I didnt have a problem with that I kept on telling her don't let go of the snake and don't loose sight of her. Then after a while I find out that she has lost my lil snake so the search is on. I'm so annoyed at her :/ has anything like this happened to anyone else?

That sucks sorry to hear. Look in warm spots (tv, computer, back of fridges, etc) sprinckle flour around the edges of walls (they try to stick to the walls instead of being in the open), close all windows and doors.

Leave a warm spot ie click clack on a heat pad with a mouse inside in the room it escaped. Try to give it a couple of warm hides so hopefully it finds those.

Best of luck.

No nothing like this has happened to me but almost lost one of my darwins into a guitar. My mum was holding my Darwin and wasn't paying attention where her head was going. Well she decided the guitar looked good for a climb and tried going into the acoustic lol.

sorry but the thread name is misleading and makes me laugh.

Maybe I'm just too tired and need to go to bed.

You are a sick puppy.
I like it.

OP, get a lock for your rep room and ban your sister from them. Hope you find your bub soon. (and it's 'children's' python - named after the scientist John George Children, who first described them.)

Yep locks and she is no longer allowed to hold the other snake. Fingers crossed I find her. I've left her enclosure open and I'm planning on leaving a heat mat and a mouse out where she became lost.

I found her - in the heater! Yay
