I cleaned out my woodies the other day and i found this beasty hiding in an egg carton, does anyone know what it is? or had random insects find there way in your colonies? My colony is housed in a lidded tub with metal flyscreen melted into the lid, not really sure how it got in

Looks like a Giant Mealworm Beetle. Your woodies probably came from an insect breeder than also grow that kind of mealworm. It probably got in from someone the packing insects at the source and a just hatch worm could have been accidentally dropped in with the roaches. They are really tiny to begin with so you could easily miss it. It then grows to full size hides away and turns into the beetle.
